PERFORMANCE REPORT FOR THE LAST 3 YEARS

STUDENT'S  PERFORMANCE

The low performance level of the students of Nueva Valencia National High School as manifested by below 75% proficiency level pushed the school to gather data of different National Achievements Test
Results as evidence to justify the need for academic excellence.

STUDENTS’ ACHIEVEMENT
The National Achievement Test which is given to all second year students at the end of the school year revealed that as of SY 2009-2010, the School ranked no. 13.  The subject with the highest MPS is Filipino with MPS of 59.66 which is far below the expected minimum 75% mastery level.
These data posed a challenge to the school to exert more effort in raising the achievement level of its students. Results of the monitoring, classroom observations, assessment and inventory reports indicates that there is a need to improve the teaching-learning strategies, physical facilities and equipment, provide additional learning support materials, strengthen stakeholders’ support, and maintain linkages with other agencies to address the pressing needs to increase the performance level of students.
